BACK UP DRIVER PROGRAM

The Brookshire Veterans Group is pleased to announce a new

“BackUp Driver Program”

for Brookshire Residents.

​

This program will establish a list of drivers willing to be a “Back Up

Driver” for those who may need a ride to medical appointments or other

necessary local errands. Sometimes you simply cannot find a ride when

it is needed. We may be able to help with:

​

- Dialysis appointments

- Doctor, dentist appointments

- Chemo appointments

- Pick you up if you cannot arrange a return trip home

- Deliver your car for a service appointment

​

Please note that this program is intended to be a back up plan only.

​

We do not have sufficient drivers available to become a taxi service on a

regular basis. We want to be sure you get to all your necessary

appointments.

To arrange for a driver check the Brookshire website at:

for a list of available drivers.

Johnson at (610) 462-1023 for a current list of drivers.)

We currently have a limited list of drivers available. If the first driver

is not available please try the next name on the list.

In order to check availability simply text your driver and give:

your name, the time, date, location and approximate duration of your

appointment.

Your driver will text or call back for more information if needed. You

can then work out any additional details.
